ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
The Dibuk Hospital is a secondary care hospital. The Accident and Emergency Center, Dibuk Hospital, is under the responsibility of the emergency and patient care team, which is in charge of offering patients of all ages, both Thai and international, 24-hour medical attention and preventative measures. Our Accident and Emergency Center prioritizes providing comprehensive medical care in accordance with professional standards. This includes reparation for easy access or services before the patient arrives at the hospital and coordination with networks for assistance in emergency or urgent situations in Phuket Province, first aid at the scene of an accident prior to sending patients to the hospital, patient referral, nursing care at the time of admission, and interdepartmental referral. This is accomplished through the coordination with relevant interdisciplinary teams within the hospital and referral of patients with complex medical conditions to other hospitals for ongoing, precise, safe, and timely treatment in order to ensure service users’ satisfaction. Therefore, the Accident and Emergency Center needs to be equipped to handle any kind of emergency patient and have a effective mechanism for referring patients to a more promising healthcare facility.
